So far, I haven't really had any super duper famous American Food. Oh no, I lie... I had food from The cheese cake factory and the famous pizza place in Greenwich Village. But below are some shots that bring a smile to my face- all was so delish! I think it may have been because I would walk around New York City ALL day and then have one meal when I'm really hungry- which made everything much more tastier than it most probably actually is.
Strawberries on French Toast at Melrose in LA. Latte and Breakie all ready for me. I LOVE travelling alone. The lovely man that made this for me customized the recipe just for me! He was really lovely and such a delight! His dog sits outside nice and sensibly watching everyone that eats outside and then comes and gives you a little kiss when you say goodbye! He was ADORABLE. oh man, I miss LA already :(
THE AMERICAN HOT DOG. Dum dum dum... haha. So in Manhattan there are food stands EVERYWHERE. No joke. I'm being for real. So I thought... okay the hot dog is something I have to have to be a New Yorker. I thought it was SO expensive for what it is... $3 for a teeeeenie hotdog.. literally only like 4 to 5 bites. HAHA. But seriously... in the freezing cold, it was flippen delicious!
